Run With Us Race Team

Run With Us believes that part of providing the best specialty running service to the community is supporting the local elite runners who otherwise receive very little post-collegiate assistance. With this in mind, the Run With Us Race Team was created, consisting of runners from all over LA who have dedicated most of their lives to training and competition in the areas of Cross Country, Track, and Road Racing. Look for them leading the local races in their Run With Us singlets!

 

Elite: The Race Team has a 5k standard of 18:15 and 15:15 for the women and men respectively (equivalent standards may be considered). If you are interested in applying for a Run With Us Race Team membership, please contact Ray Castillo, raycastillox@gmail.com at (626) 568.3331 or (213) 271-8203

An athlete with national or international experience may also qualify for support in this category.

    RWU Carla McAlister sets new course record at the 2013 Surf City Marathon

    Congrats to Carla McAlister for her big win yesterday at the Surf City Marathon. Carla finished first female with a time of 2:56:28 and set a new course record. Way to go Carla!

     

    2013 Surf City Marathon

    Congrats to Run With Us race team member Carla McAlister, 39. McAlister set a new course record in Sunday's 17th Annual Surf City USA Marathon. The reigning Surf City women's champion finished in a time of 2:56:28. McAlister, from San Clemente, bested the old mark of 2:57:19 set by Nadia Noorzia in 2006.

    Run With Us would like to congratulate Race team members Eli Rodríguez 2nd place male (1:09:05), Ricardo Ramírez 5th place male(1:15:12), Carla Mcalister 1st place female (1:23:27), and Rosario Castañeda 3rd place female (1:27:18) on their great performance on last weekends (Jan 5th) 1/2 marathon!!

    Congratulations to Ultra Club Run With Us runner Ricardo Ramirez for winning the High Desert 50K in 3:39:00 yesterday. Way to go Ricardo!

     

    Congratulations to Elite Run With Us athlete Jacques Sallberg for winning the South Pasadena Tiger Run 5K in 15:38 and Carla McAlister for winning the womens 5K in 18:42 !

    Congratulations to Elite Club Run With Us runners Eli Rodriguez for winning the Say No To Drugs 5K yesterday with a time of 16:31 and Rosario Castaneda for finishing 2nd in the females 5K in a time of 20:27
