Favorite Shoe: Road: Adidas Adizero SL and Trails: Mount to Coast H1

Favorite Distance To Race: The Longer the race the better. Preferably Ultras. 50k, 50 miles,100k or 100 Miles. Don't get me wrong, I also enjoy some 5Ks, Half marathons and Fulls!

Favorite Place To Run: I love being out in nature. Anywhere in the mountains running trails is a go for me! 

Favorite Post-Race Meal: This is a hard one but a big juicy burger with some curly fries or a poke bowl is definitely my go to. Can't forget to complete the combo with a well earned nice cold beer to celebrate with friends! 

Training Philosophy: For me it's simple. Run more than lifters. Lift more than runners. Keep most (80%) of your runs easy and enjoyable. Save the other 20% for some speed work and long runs with some marathon pace miles in between. One last thing, don't forget to smile, express gratitude and run with friends along the way!

Favorite Or Go-To Workout: For running ima have to give it up to speed workouts. They hurt at the moment but are very rewarding. For strength training, it'll be any single leg strength movement that requires me to focus, balance and exert some force. And bicep curls, because biceps win races lol just kidding!

What I Like To Eat/Drink Before A Run: Maurten 360 carb mix with salt head electrolytes from nutrishop as soon as I wake up. Followed up by 2-3 rice krispie treats and a scoop of protein with milk! 

Favorite Quote That Inspires You: I have two. "Querer es Poder!" and "Keep Chasing Impossible"

Why I Run: I run because it makes me feel alive and free. It gives me space to reflect, practice gratitude, and reconnect with myself. Running challenges me, rewards consistency, and builds my self-belief. It’s also brought incredible friendships and communities into my life. Most importantly, I run and strength train because I'm committed to inspiring others to pursue a healthy, active lifestyle. I believe our story is our greatest gift and when we share it, it can bring others hope and encouragement so that one day they too can chase their impossible! 

Where To Find Me When I’m Not Running: At the movie theaters, watching sports with friends, family gatherings and with Hailey walking our doggie Kiwi!

Personal Bests: Full Marathon 2 hrs 45 mins (BQ). 100 Mile ultra in 22 hrs 54 minutes. Only been running for 2 years so i'm excited to see what the future holds with Run With Us!

Other Tidbits: Never say never. Years back I told myself I would never run a marathon and look at me now. Running more miles than I drive lol. 

I have my own gym in Downtown Azusa called Athletics For All. We've been able to create a welcoming space for all walks of lives and fitness levels to come together and pursue a healthy active lifestyle. God is good!
